Before you can even think about shopping for wedding invitations the first thing that needs to be done is have a completed invitation list. The list needs to cover the family and friends for both the bride and the groom. Business associates should only be invited if they are considered friends, not out of some work or business bonds.
Before you can even think about shopping for wedding invitations the first thing that needs to be done is have a completed invitation list. The list needs to cover the family and friends for both the bride and the groom. Generally speaking, Business associates are only be invited if they are considered friends, not out of some work or business obligation.
If you are having a large wedding, invitations should also be extended to friends and associates of the bride and groom's parents.
Once the list is complete, it's time to start shopping for affordable wedding invitations. You need to have the list done so you can order the correct amount of invitations, taking into account guests who are a couple only require one invitation. You will also need to take into consideration if you want to incorporate any of your wedding themes or colors into the invitations.

Wedding Invitations should be sent from the bride's house; even to those people, she doesn't know, with her return address on the envelope. They should be sent with a minimum of 4-6 weeks before the day.
When ordering your affordable wedding invitations you should also make sure they come with matching reception cards, reply cards, and thank you cards. There may also be direction cards you can order. If not directions to all facilities should be typed, printed, and distributed with each invitation.
If you are going traditional, you will want to choose white or cream wedding invitations. However, if you are not choosing traditional wedding invitations before you start shopping you will want to have some sort of picture in your mind what y our wedding will look like. When you are looking for modern wedding stationery you will want to keep in mind your wedding colors, the season you are marrying and any wedding themes you have chosen.
When
you shop you will have a good idea of what you may be looking for.
For instance, if you are getting married during the Christmas season
you might choose wedding invitations based on colors such as red,
white, green, or ice blue. You might use metallic accent colors such
as silver or gold.
You could also look for themes in your invitations instead such as Christmas trees, ornaments, or snowflakes.
