Been to an especially nice wedding? Tell us about it, what you loved, what worked and what didn’t. Ever been to a bad wedding? Tell us about wedding day horrors, or just about the weddings that were not planned out correctly – and let all the brides to be know how to avoid similar mistakes.

There really is no such thing as a perfect wedding. Planning a wedding and coming up with wedding ideas is a long process and there is certainly work involved. Here is my contribution to wedding planning advice and stories.

Hire Professional Vendors

Make sure the vendors you hire will available when you need them. Sometimes it is little things that go wrong. For me there were a few but the one that sticks out the most is that between the ceremony and the reception somehow my husband lost a button on his shirt. We had rented the Tuxedo from Tuxedo Junction. We called them and told them where we were at (driving to the reception hall) and they met us there. They brought an extra button, sewed it onto my husband’s shirt and left. Personally I think that is good customer service.

Of course my first piece of advice would be to choose quality wedding vendors who will be able to help you if the need arises. Secondly I would say that you need to be prepared. Having a sewing kit in an emergency wedding day bag would not be a bad idea either!

Now we are waiting for your wedding planning advice and stories. Let us know what has happened to you or someone you know and what advice you have to give. If you have a photo to share as well that would be great!
