Things to Do in Bermuda: Elbow Beach
Its name being due to its shape, this is the place to go when searching for great Bermuda beaches. It is famous mostly because half of it is used as a private beach for guests staying at Elbow Beach Resort. Although only half of the beach is open to the public, it is still one of tourists' top picks when it comes to snorkeling and swimming. The offshore reef allows for calm waters so even the little ones can enjoy some fun in the water at this pink-sand beach near the city of Hamilton.
Things to Do in Bermuda: Clearwater Beach
Of all Bermuda beaches, this is the only one that was made by man. Once a part of a U.S. Air Force base, Clearwater beach is located on Cooper Island and is the place to go if you're on a family vacation. It is not a very famous beach but is perfect for those looking to relax. Clearwater beach boasts some lovely views, hiking trails and several playgrounds for the kids. It is also a safe beach with lifeguards on duty from May to September.

Other interesting things to do in Bermuda include a tour of South Shore Park. This park connects two famous Bermuda beaches, Horseshoe Bay and Warwick Long Bay. Horseshoe Bay is Bermuda's most crowded beach but is a great place for both young and old, offering all guests umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, food and drinks. It also has lifeguards on duty from May to September. On the other side of the park is Warwick Long Bay, the longest strand of beach in Bermuda. This beach is well-known for its picturesque offshore coral formations and its peace and quiet. Locals and tourists enjoy long walks, jogs and horseback riding along the pink shores.
